By the time Johann David Hammel planted his first vines in Kirchheim in 1793, he was certainly not aware that everybody would be talking about his winery nine generations later. Today, traditional methods in the vineyard and cellar are as important as a good eye for smart wine-ideas. These ideas are especially coming from the winery’s mastermind Christoph Hammel who is running the estate together with his brother Martin. “Juicy in the Sky” is one of these ideas: It is a carbonated grape-juice made from the aromatic Scheurebe-variety. The natural grape sweetness is balanced by crisp acidity and the vivid CO2-bubbles make this non-alcoholic drink an easy-going refreshment.
